Incredibly clean and incredibly accommodating, isolated for lights and all the views! Full bar, great parking! Comfy beds with a great curtain for privacy! Clean showers and bathrooms! Full kitchen, cannot say enough great things about this place!

Amazing stay at The Barn! The hostel was very new and clean. There was a full kitchen for guests to use, lots of chairs to lounge and relax. Great location and incredible views from the hostel. Was able to see the Northern Lights from the parking lot :)

Beautiful exterior of the building as well as interior. Nice having the bar there for any finger foods or drinks you may want. Showers were clean and large. My only complaint would be that the room was very small with very limited luggage storage for 4 double beds (8 people)

We stayed in a private room with a private bath at The Barn outside of Vik for 2 nights on our trip around the ring road in early October. The location is beautiful and is super close to Reynisfjara Beach. Great location for viewing the northern lights which we saw both nights we were there! It was a short drive into the town of Vik. This was our favorite hotel of our entire 2 week trip in Iceland and we would definitely stay there again!

Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in! Showers and bathroom area were incredible. The other guests were quiet and polite. We enjoyed playing Icelandic jenga (tummple) in the lobby! Only complaint was that the guest kitchen was quite crowded but that only means that the space is well-used and well-equipped. Would stay again!
