A good local Peruvian hotel. Great price, nice rooms, showers can be a little cold sometimes but it’s a great little hotel. My go to when I’m in Cusco for work.

6/10 Good

Booked for our last night in Cusco because of the airport shuttle service. The hotel was great with arranging our transport to the airport and even prepared breakfast to go for us. But the hotel itself was quite dusty and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom.

This is a classic hotel in Cusco, very well maintained in my opinion, and very affordable to stay while visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco. Luiyi and Yanet from front desk did an excellent job with me, taking care of all details. I felt safe all time there and around. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are lot of them around very close. They have breakfast included, and if you, as I did, have to leave early, they provide a breakfast box to go as a courtesy. I truly recommend this hotel to everyone arriving in Cusco for any reason.

Very pleasant and comfortable
I was happy with my 2-night stay there. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were nice and helpful. I'd stay there again. It's a pleasant walk to the Plaza de Armas and other things to see in Cusco.

Excellent hotel
Very nice hotel, good breakfast and tea at the lobby all day long. Staff was wonderful, especially Erlinda who was very friendly and spoke English very well. Walking distance to downtown Cusco, it also had all sorts of restaurants on tge same street.

The hotel had beautiful decor and well equipped. Walking distance to the Temple of the Sun and the train station. Reception was very helpful. We had dropped our laundry off to a place that said it would deliver it to the hotel by 8pm. The receptionist chased them up for us!

8/10 Very good

Decent Hotel for good price.
First room was in front, facing the road. There were no black out curtains and it was very lit at night. Front desk staff immediately offered to move us to inside room, which was better. However, the only window view was of a narrow atrium. The breakfast was okay. The people were very nice. It was a hike to Plaza de Armas, but very doable.

I'm really glad I stayed here. For the money, I haven't had quite the space and the service that I received with Warari. It's not a modern high-design hotel, but the design quality and ammenities are really more than the price inidcates. As for the distance from the historic centre, it's on the outside and within 20min walk of just about anythink I needed.

The staff were great! Especially Erlinda, she spoke English very well and really cared. It was nice coming down for tea in the evening and talking to her, i had ended up coming here to Cusco solo and felt very safe at the hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

They were so accommodating. My friend left a day early and they were great holding the room for me when I was out on a trip near Cusco! My one complaint was that there was no water in the hotel. I had to remember to buy some each night.
Rachel, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The previous reviewers must have lied 😔
Firstly, most misleading reviews ever. The staff and location are the only redeeming qualities if any. It's really close to the PeruRail station and a short walk to the square and tons of food options. The staff were super friendly and kind. They were easy to talk to and caring. Oh and they gave me a boxed breakfast for my early morning adventures. Maybe the hotel was great in the past, I didn't get that experience. The first room I got had a strong sulphur/sewage smell and a moldly bathroom. I got to change to a better room but there was no working heat and the hot water in the shower took about 15 - 20 minutes to flow if it flowed at all. The toilet as seemed to leak so I had to use paper to stop it flowing all over the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing, not many options, cold, atleast it included fruits. I'd suggest they do some maintenance. The walls could do with some paint and if they fix the heater they could save a lot of water and money and be actually eco friendly. I'm wondering if Cusco has any good budget options since this seemed to be the best and was disappointing so how bad could the other hotels be?

100% 10/10 worry-free experience in CUSCO!
Absolutely wonderful. We were here for four nights and all of our questions/concerns were answered and solved before we even arrived! The staff is helpful and accommodating, speaking with us in English as we do not speak Spanish. Breakfast is provided. Alinda and staff went above and beyond in assisting us because we had two early morning excursions. First, they communicated with the tour in Spanish and would let us out only when the tour guide has arrived to make sure that we were completely safe and did not have to wait outside for the tour to arrive. Second, knowing that we would be leaving early in the morning, they packed us sandwich bags in advance to us leaving and missing breakfast. HOW THOUGHTFUL! this was not required but they took the initiative to do so. This made a deep impact on our trip and was heartfelt during our trip. The staff is available for anything questions you have during your stay and provided great correspondence even before our arrival and we knew that we picked the right place! The place is clean and organized. It is close to the city center but extremely peaceful and safe. Warari allowed us to leave our luggage with them after check-out when our flight out of Cusco was in the evening. Totally appreciated! Gave us an additional stress-free afternoon to enjoy in Cusco! No complaints at all and everyone in the hotel was willing to help! If I am visiting Cusco (other places too) again, this is certainly something I will remember and recommend!
