But basics are not there: First room we received was very dark and unfriendly. 2nd room: lacked basic amenities: no robe, no slippers, no toothpaste... plus quite dirty... Clearly form over content. The perfect boutique hotel in Vienna!
Max Brown Hotel was the perfect boutique hotel for my partner and I, and we couldn’t ask for anything more! As soon as you step into the hotel, you are welcomed by lovely staff and beautiful interiors. The Large room was great. We had a big closet for our luggage, so we had space to move around. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved that the hotel was walking distance to delicious brunch spots, and we found it was easy to get to the main centre. We barely had to take the public transport because we felt safe walking around. I would highly recommend this hotel! Don’t forget to take a photo in their photobooth in the lobby.

The hotel is hip and all staff clearly enjoy their work. The Neubau area is quiet and in-touristy but with good restaurants but nothing to beat the Hotel restaurant itself, Seven North, I recall.
