Institute of Contemporary Art highlights
When you explore the permanent collection of the Institute of Contemporary Art, you'll find quite a few iconic artists among the newcomers. Among the collection, you'll find works by Rita Ackerman, James Turrell, Ann Craven, William Copley, and Jim Hodges. The purpose of the collection is to showcase expression rather than fame, so the well-known works and works from new artists are set up together.
The rotating temporary exhibitions work similarly to the permanent collection in their presentation. At times, they'll highlight a local Miami artist, while other exhibitions will be focused on legends such as Pablo Picasso.
