Located in the superb Waldorf Astoria Orlando, Bull and Bear Steakhouse is always going to be a classy affair. Think plush table clothes, impeccable service and some of the finest cuts of cow you’ll find anywhere in Central Florida.

The comprehensive menu here stretches from no-nonsense slabs of meat to more delicate dishes that push Bull and Bear into the realms of fine dining. What we also love about this place is the stunning views, which looks out from the floor-to-ceiling windows across the hotel’s adjacent golf course.

The refined décor keeps things smart and sophisticated without ever feeling too stuffy, helped in no small part by the light which floods in from the illuminated golf course after dark. You can also catch the fireworks display over Disney World, but you’ll need to reserve a table by the window and skilfully time your visit with the show (which starts at 10pm).

The pièce de résistance here has to be the 32-day dry-aged Tomahawk ribeye, big enough for 2 people to share (and, at around $145, the bill is big enough to share, too). There are other showstoppers such as the wagyu sirloin, filet mignon and melt-in-the-mouth Chateaubriand for 2.

The menu at Bull and Bear Steakhouse goes way beyond the bovine offerings too, with their signature ‘Fried Chicken’, the pan-roasted Colorado lamb, and the ultra-extravagant Maine lobster, which comes served on a spit for 2 people.

You’ll find the Bull and Bear Steakhouse at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, located within Bonnet Creek Resort in Disney World. Note that reservations are highly recommended as Bull and Bear is only open for dinner from 6pm.
