"Location of the hotel, room and the thermal baths were the features to highlight. We got the biggest suite which was huge and we had our own thermal pool. We had a fireplace and plenty of wood (staff takes care of that). Communication with the front desk and restaurant was only via WhatsApp which was non-efficient. Front desk staff was helpful and they took care of our requests (fireplace, heating). The poorest service was the from the restaurant. Room services typically got the wrong order,...

"Modern cabins with waterfront views facing the rock, El Penol. The space is beautiful, peaceful with super comfy beds. Loved that the 180 degree view with floor to ceiling windows. Curtains blackout as needed. There's a small kitchen behind the bedroom where we had access to a hot water maker.
During the day, it is very quiet and peaceful, somehow at night there's music blaring from outside late into the evening. People seem to party quite late in the night, just be aware you can hear music...
