There was a smell of mould in the corridor on the ground floor around the reception area. However, the rooms we freshly redecorated and new furniture were installed. The bed was comfortable and soft.

We stayed here because it was on the road to further destinations. Because of the traffic we were a little late at the check in (22:30), but when I called on our way to the hotel to mention that, it wasn't a problem. In the morning we left. Our short stay was nice. The only 'not very good' thing was our matress. It was a little old so our backs went down in de matress.

Room had a stinging wasp nest outside which caused dozens of flying insects to enter the room in the early morning. The light near bed was full of dead wasps. They were large snd aggressive. It was really terrifying. We kept windows after first two nights but rooms was very stuffy snd uncomfortable. After first night I notified the hotel front desk and they later told me they had no sign of any insects. We complained, showed photos and they did not show any concern. I was told that the city government did not allow the hotel to exterminate the wasp nest . We were stuck for six nights. No other hotels available, no room change snd no card from hotel manager. We paid in advance. We finally just kept the windows closed tight but with no ventilation it was terribly uncomfortable but better than having dozens of stinging wasps frenzied in the room. Please save future guests this nightmare.

Hotel ligt op korte afstand van het station en de binnenstad. Handig voor een bezoekje aan Keulen of Aken. Soms hoorde je vreemde geluiden in de badkamer of toilet.

Leider war beim Frühstück keine Brötchen vorhanden und keine Teller, keine Löffel für Müsli und kein Tisch abgeräumt von den vorherigen Gästen damit quasi kein Platz war zum sitzen. Als dies angesprochen wurde bei dem Küchen Personal wurde man frech angemeckert das nicht alle gleichzeitig möglich ist.

Das Hotel renoviert nach und nach die Zimmer, wir hatten noch eins im 90er Jahre Chic. Aber es war alles soweit ok. Wobei ich nicht ganz verstanden habe, warum in unserem Zimmer zum Bad eine teildurchsichtige Glasscheibe eingebaut wurde. Null Privatsphäre auf dem Klo 😅... Nun ja.... Aber alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich 😊

Kann man machen für mal eine Nacht Pennen
Parkmöglichkeit war unbefriedigend, da Tiefgarage und Parkdeck in einer dunklen Seitengasse gelegen war und das Rolltor nicht mehr funktionierte. Kein gutes Gefühl, dort sein Auto abzustellen (Diebstahl, Vandalismus etc.) Dafür 9 € ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Zimmer waren ok, wenn auch mit altem Mobiliar. Nur der Fernseher war zu klein. kaum größer als ein Tablet.

Für einen Aufenthalt ok. Sauber, ruhig, nettes Personal. E-Ladestelle war für uns das Ausschlaggebende. Parkplatz hinter dem Haus über dunkle, schlecht geteerte Strasse erreichbar und nicht besonders gepflegt. Aber in Summe: Passt
