We stayed for 3 nights in this apartment that is located right next door to the marina area. The staff are available 24/7 and so helpful. Parking is in a secure garage. There are key cards for moving in and out of the property so very safe. It is a 5 min walk to the marina area and 5 min more to the VA Waterfront. So many dining and shopping options nearby that our car stayed parked for the entire time. The apartment is not huge but perfect for 2 people. It had a beautiful large balcony overlooking the canals, a nice seating/dining area inside and a small kitchen with washer/dryer. Linens/bedding/towels all very nice, bed was very comfortable and bathroom quite large. Overall, this is an exceptional property in the perfect location, very safe, and I would highly recommend it while visiting Cape Town.

Absolutely stunning views, one of the best places to stay in Capetown by V&A...apartments are luxury but could do with some minor touchups as its been a while. But well worth it.

Excellent location with good service
The location is excellent, the property is clean with nice view, free and easy to access car parking. Staff were friendly as well. However, three main issues: power cut was every day and we need to call reception to have it back, secondly, you need to deal with aunts specially in the kitchen area, and finally we ask for laundry and cloths where taken by the receptionist but on the next day they were still with the receptionist and not taken to laundry so we asked them to return it back to us !

Best place to stay if you have the slightest concerns about safety. It is directly connected to the One & Only hotel, and has excellent security. Apartments are high quality, we regularly stay with Hilton, Radisson, Marriot and they were better than these. Highly recommended.

Clouds is Heavenly!
We stayed in a deluxe villa for two nights. Fantastic in every way. Staff welcome was great. Accom (King bed, separate lounge/kitchen, balcony, fridge stocked with free goodies) was outstanding. Location for winelands perfect. We loved Clouds and will definitely return.

Such an awesome place to stay! Excellent location for exploring the V&A waterfront on foot and lots of transport options for tours nearby. The property is wonderful, very clean and stocked with everything you need. It’s a beautiful apartment. It’s all very secure and safe. The management company are excellent. Available 24/7 for any issues and really responsive. Also they are great at booking tours for you. We loved it!

The reception is far from the apartments and when you call them they don’t send for what you ask for or if they do it’s extremely delayed. The security make it a very long process to enter the property. The load shedding was a problem as if you’re on holiday you can’t use blow driers charges etc. the staff aren’t very helpful and accommodating and it is next to impossible to get in touch with them unless you go to the office which is a drive away and far to walk. The water I think due to the load shedding was lukewarm a lot of the time. The lift chooses when it wants to work not ideal if you’re disabled or carrying heavy suitcases. It’s an unfortunate that the service and facilities were so poor here as the location and views and the property itself was beautiful. I wouldn’t stay there again sorry to say.

Ground floor external door was broken would not lock and we had a real 2 hour battle to be moved to another one at midnight . It would have meant we could not leave it or sleep as it was open to anybody entering from the walk off the canal. They wanted to charge us £500 to move to another bigger appartment which they said was all that was available . Check in lady was excellent then It all went downhill. The guy who had to take us to the block, Arnold, knew the lock was broken when he left . It was left to the night guy who did his best against a resistant management who wanted us to pay the extra charge or be moved again the following day .The appartments are lovely but it’s not easy to navigate your way around and lots of people were having problems with their security passes . We ended up with a much bigger apartment than we needed due to the forced move but would have rather had the evening we lost on a short Capetown trip. It’s also not always easy to get hold of the 24 hour desk .
