The room of the hotel was beautiful and decorated to a high standard and very resonanbly priced for the quality.
My only criticism is that there was no towels supplied so was quite in shock when i took a shower to have nothing to dry myself with. i was not sure if this was an oversight as a bathroom mat was supplied and also shampoo, condition and shower gel. Worth the price paid as lots of add ons to use sky tv and tea and coffee!

Probably the nicest, best decorated and beautiful room I have stayed in (and I travel for work a lot).
Very comfortable, excellent price. Close to the railways station and local restaurants.

Had low expectations but was a great small room in what happens to be a new hotel development above shops on the highstreet. Booked a room labled double / twin but could only book dbl version but its great that they contact you before the stay to ask if you want it made up as a dbl or twin.

Beautiful room! Very clean, contemporary, sense of luxury and really well thought out! The down is that it’s just a room with en suite- no other facilities- and no lift-
But there is a delicious cafe downstairs for breakfast and lots of restaurants/takeaway places locally! Would highly recommend!

Unattended, self check-in hotel. Recently refurbished. Spotlessly clean. Room was quite small, but well laid out and well decorated. The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to get up into the morning. Overall, it was excellent value for money and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Our room was beautiful 5* Luxury. We encountered an issue the first night, not the fault of the hotel, however when notified they went out of their way to investigate and resolve the issue. In the interim, they offered us another room and partial refund if we wanted it. Whilst in discussion re: the issue we mentioned we were there for our anniversary and wanted to remain in the executive suite, so when we returned to the room we found a card and chocolates from the hotel staff. 5* service and very thoughtful staff. Highly recommended. Thank you Howfields for a very pleasant stay.

We stayed for one night as attending a funeral in the area. The room was great value for money. Communication from staff before arrival was excellent. No reception at the hotel but key codes provided. No issues so no need to contact anyone. Check in and check out easy. Amenities in the room were very good. Stayed in room 6. Room was hot due to hot weather and a fan was provided. Slightly noisy first thing in the morning with businesses on the high street setting up for the day but not a major problem.

We enjoyed our stay, found the room to be decorated nicely. It could benefit from more practical storage space such as hooks, bigger wardrobe, better storage, bigger coffee table.
It was a shame there was no mini fridge to store our own food items, the tea, coffee and int milk wasn’t a very generous portion considering a 2 people for a 2 night stay.
Otherwise, well located, easy to find and convenient car park at the back and lots of pubs and places to eat nearby.
I was uncomfortable by the property asking to bank transfer an additional £25 charge for us bring our dog. Whilst I don’t disagree with the charge, I’d have preferred to pay that when booking through a legitimate platform but we were asked to pay when already travelling and didn’t want to object and lose our booking
