We had a terrible experience with the staff of this hotel, we had an amazon package delivered at front desk before our arrival, when we arrived and asked for it, they were not able to find it, after checking-in I received a call saying that the owner of the hotel received the package, opened it and kept it in his office locked.
I consider this a tremendous security concern and specially how the situation was handled.
1. When they were not able to find it, they asked what the package contained? (It is a brown amz box)
2. When I received the call, they did not apologize, the girl actually laughed loudly saying that it had been a mistake and the owner opened it, like if it was a game, the apology was "sorry, he opened it and it is now locked, oops"
3. The lady at front desk excuse was that the owner is not trained to receive packages and assumed it was him, what? You do not need training, it is common sense, besides the amazon delivery guy asked for a signature on the package which had the exact name, not the name of the hotel
4. They mentioned that I was going to be able to talk to the owner next day to receive an apology, guess what the apology was? "Honest mistake"
5. Not only he opened the big box (amz box), there were 2 boxes inside that did not have the secured tape, they just said it was no big deal
6. The owner (who opened the packages) did not show, they sent the General Manager instead who was
