The first 2 nights, the room I paid for wasn’t given to me —- I was told that the GM would contact me about getting the difference back and that still hasn’t happened. I eventually got the room I paid for and requested on the 3rd night, however I almost didn’t receive it because I was told an “influencer” was going to be there to take photos and such, which as an influencer as well I understand, however my reservations as well as unresponded to emails stated exactly what I needed weeks prior to my arrival. When we finally did get into the room, the shower was flooding, maintenance worked on it for two days and eventually it started working properly. However because of the dampness due to the flooding there were water bugs in the room, so we had to make sure our luggage was properly zipped and in the closet safely put away. On the second to last night the hot water stopped working …. The night manager was going to have us shower in a guest public bathroom two floors down and across the hotel, as a woman, that made me uncomfortable. But luckily the day time manager the following day found us another bathroom on our floor in a private room for us to shower and change comfortably.
The best thing I can say about this place was that all the staff were truly amazing and by staff I mean the employees who work there and the managers on duty—> not including the General Manager who has yet to contact me.
