To start with positives: the hotel is in a good location close to the main square but far enough that you're not stepping into a huge crowd every time you go outside.
It's an old pretty building with nice interior architecture, and their roof terrace is a good addition especially considering how small our room was. It consisted of a bed with mystery hair on the sheets, and a tiny bathroom with minimal ventilation. Giant roaches came to hang out in our room and some drowned in the pool which the staff overloaded with bleach so anyone who stepped in the hall for even a second started choking (literally). Keep your expectations low for quality, and timeliness of breakfast.
This was the cheapest room with decent reviews we found in Marrakech, but more expensive and less enjoyable than any other hotel we booked in North Africa.
If you're a hardcore traveler on a budget able to survive anything, go for it. Otherwise this place might not be for you.
