The check-in experience was extremely unsatisfactory. We arrived shortly after midnight to find the overnight clerk gambling on his phone. He was rude and dismissive throughout the process. Despite having prepaid over two weeks ago through a third-party service, the clerk demanded that I insert my card without providing any explanation for the charges. When I inquired about the amount, he reacted with frustration and claimed he had to restart the process multiple times, which was not my fault.
His unprofessional behavior continued as he insisted a full night's payment was due at check-in, even though I had already paid online. He refused to review the receipt and became increasingly agitated when I questioned his rudeness. It was only after he put his phone down and properly checked his screen that he acknowledged our prior payment. This made for a terrible check-in experience.
However, the morning staff was exceptionally kind and professional, offering a stark contrast to the overnight clerk. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious.
