Nice room and clean. Bed better than others on this trip, so I slept well. Heating controls were not intuitive; took a while to get it warm enough in the room. Food for breakfast was ok. Food for evening meal was limited; not a real restaurant. Just so-so.

Never got to hotel as family bereavement but unfortunately I booked through a booking site and spent two days trying to cancel and couldn’t get through to them so I’ve now been charged . The staff at the Glasgow Airport Holiday Inn Express were very helpful and sorted out an early check in after a very long journey. Other requests were met with similar helpfulness. The breakfast after the long journey was great to help working off the effects of jet lag!

Hotel was clean, convenient and service was good. Only complaint I would have is reception, bar and restaurant are all together. Also you had to order food at the bar and prepay. Not a welcoming environment. However, the room was warm, clean and comfortable. The hotel was good value for money.
