Beautiful cosy villa with direct Mt Fuji views
Very big villa room with beautiful Mt Fuji views from living room & bedroom. A huge luggage & closet room separated from bedrooms.
Staff were all very nice & friendly & there’s an english speaking Lady staff, who recommended us to join the Summer Festival with beautiful fireworks near hotel. She helped us with a lot of our enquiries & assisted us with a nice house tour & introduction of nearby areas. Kudos to this lady staff 🤗
Villa includes a kitchenette, we didn’t cook but we were very happy with the wine glasses & drinking glasses, plates & etc provided in the kitchenette.

100% perfect view of Fuji-san!!
Short walk from Kawaguchiko Station and the route is generally flat and well lit at night.
The property was very modern and minimalist. Room was clean but had some drain flies in the toilet. Very spacious and can easily fit four adults and luggage. Walls were not very sound-proof but was still acceptable.

2/10 Poor

Room is dirty, bed linen are old and dirty. No room cleaning, if you stay 2 nights, they will just prepare the towels for 2 days. Won’t clear rubbish for you also. The price we paid can find other hotel with better service. Only good thing is the view of Mount Fuji. But again, with the price we paid we can find another hotel with the same view and better services. My face had breakouts after staying here for 2 nights.
Also, there’s no one at the reception after 9.30pm or 10pm, can’t remember the time clearly because every time we are back around 7-8pm, there’s no one there already. Anyone can enter the hotel, not safe at all.

Great view. Uncomfortable sleeping.
The pure white decor of the place really highlights how dirty everything is. We got into the room later in the evening when staff was no longer around and saw tiny gnats flying around the corner of the room. It’s possible bc the open concept of the lobby and their doors and the outside if full of these bugs. I don’t care when bugs are outside but when they’re inside - so grossed out. My husband and kids took care of the problem. The bright white floors also highlighted how gross the carpet felt inside the room. I wanted to take a steam vacuum and clean the floors.
But the beds. These beds were so so so uncomfortable. And they gave you a paper thin pillow you can literally fold in half. Those pillows are garbage and too used at this point. Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in I would say I was the least comfortable with it.
The view? It was nice. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji but the bad night sleep and cleanness does not make up for it.

We are a group of 6 travelling to Japan from different countries for a family trip hoping to create precious memories together.
Our first stop was Tokyo and we were happy with the hotel service in Ginza. However, when we arrived the Garden Hotel near Mount Fuji, we saw a huge difference in the service quality. The receptionist was rude and unfriendly. Upon seeing our group, he immediately told us with a stern face that the maximum number of guests is 4 in each hotel room. I told him we booked 2 rooms but he seemed indifferent and just proceeded to inform us of our room numbers, as if he didn’t want to entertain us any further. As he was pulling a long face, we couldn’t ask him for more information, such as the barbecue facilities, or whether any eateries or supermarkets around. We only asked for the direction of the Carpark as we had just unloaded our luggages. Instead of providing us with the information we need, this guy just told us we can”t park outside the hotel! Can you believe it? The reception area is a small space which could only hold 3 people and of course we needed to unload our luggages from the car before parking! We were terribly disappointed by the service of this hotel and the unhelpful receptionist. The hotel is newly built & the neighborhood is quiet. Even google map doesn’t work well to locate eateries nearby & it’s rather scary to drive back to the hotel at night. The hotel rooms are next to the small reception where there is so much noise outside

Overrated by social media. It felt more like an Air B&B then hotel to me. Security level is low as there is only 1 staff at the front desk whom kept falling asleep when monitoring CCTV. He was very rude to us when we check in as we may have woke him up during his nap. Room is dirty especially that dirty towel hanging in the kitchen. Plenty of parking space but driving into the hotel was a nightmare and highly suggest not to drive in there. Very inconvenient location. Very disappointed and Never returning.

Lovely view of Fuji. Rooms clean, spacious, overall nice property. Lack of reception help. Did not understand basic hotel guest's needs like restaurant recommendations, grocery store. Other than that, would recommend.

Spectacular Views of Mt. Fuji
The views of Mt. Fuji from all rooms made up for any short-comings. The layout of the hotel is a bit weird, but, again, the views of the mountain were spectacular. It was so nice to have a balcony, kitchenette, and free laundry facilities. We had a great stay. It is hard to find, difficult to get into (roads are very narrow), but worth the effort. We rented a car in Otsuki and drove (about an hour) to get to the hotel. But the views were so worth it!
