Fantastic Gem of a Hotel
The staff was absolutely fantastic. They gave me advice on where to go for dinner, they helped me to find a lost pair of AirPods that I left at a store and their service was as good as the Four Seasons I have stayed at in Beverly Gills, San Francisco and Las Vegas over the last two months. Absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself had a terrific restaurant and they prepared a dinner for me at the bar 10 minutes after the restaurant had officially closed. Just an amazing experience - and the old city / Gamla Stan has really gotten terrific new restaurants and stores since I was last in Stockholm about 5 years ago.

We were received very well. It actually seemed as if the hotel was expecting our arrival. They had made everything ready for upgrading the hotel room where we received port wine in the room and a voucher of SEK 200 for use in the bar or room service. The hotel also has a great location in Gamla Stan with many nice facilities such as a restaurant and bar with exciting dishes in very pleasant surroundings. We would love to come back.

This beautiful historic hotel is in the heart of the old town. It is also a sort of maritime museum where each room includes artifacts from a specific ship captain. The staff are very helpful. I highly recommend eating in their restaurant, one of the best meals I’ve had in Europe (after dozens of trips)
