Perfect for groups of friends!
I stayed here with my friends for my bachelorette; this place was a great pick! We stayed in the 6-person bunk bedroom. There was plenty of space for everyone and the beds were super comfy. This is a perfect place if you're looking to be near many fun things and want that boutique hotel feel.

One night stay in Portland
Great last minute booking! The check in process was easy and they kindly gave us an upgrade. The room was cozy, though clearly had that “old building” feeling (for better or worse). We’d definitely stay there again!

Such a great place to stay! Super fun bar & dining options, easy to get to transit, and peaceful, pretty, comfty room (I opted for the single room and loved it)! Since this is a hostel, keep in mind some hotel-like services are not available (like a robe, daily room cleaning) and some maintenance items weren’t perfect (some duct tape on the shower and a bit of a musty shower smell), but it didn’t impact my stay negatively. The bed, restaurants, sauna, and location more than make up for it. Amazing, kind front desk staff, too. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

A wonderful accommodation within walking distance to many popular spots in Portland! A quaint place with an old-timey, antique feeling with a restaurant on-site that offers delicious food. Highly recommend this spot, but make sure to book an en-suite room if you want your own private restroom in the room. Would be nice to have a mini fridge & microwave in the rooms too.

We rented the family suite and so very pleased with the room. We all had really comfortable beds. The hotel staff and restaurant/bar staff were all very pleasant. The only issue was trying to find parking...that was an expensive mess.

Whoever hired Bella, Vince, Cj, and David did a great job!! Coming from Alabama, their hospitality and personality made my first trip to Portland even more inviting. Also, the queen size room I had was great as well. Great environment, I’ll be back.

4/10 Fair

Booked a hotel room for my family to find out that our room didn't have a bathroom inside. The bathroom was in the hallway and it was shared with other guests. Hotel didn't offer parking also. For a premium price this hotel is not for me. If I knew about the bathroom sharing I would definitely booked my stay in another hotel.

Cute and cozy!
Loved this place from beginning to end! Check in was simple and the desk clerk was super friendly. The decor made it feel super cozy! Our room was tucked in a corner, with a restroom right across the way. The rooftop bar was a nice escape from the bustling city. I loved that they provided 4 pillows per bed, and they were full, fluffy pillows! The beds were extremely comfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud 😌

2/10 Poor

I do not see how they got good reviews until I realized they just got them drunk. The Lobby was a bar. A block away was a city of tents and homeless people. When I walked in I noticed a sour, moldy smell. When I was being checked in I felt it was all about what I would be charged more. She told me they had no parking and the public parking was closer to where the homeless laid along the street. I was never explained where things were like the bathroom that I would need during my stay. She did explained the finicky elevator. When I went to the room, it was dark and the bunks were not well marked where I could easily find my bunk. I finally did. In all the instructions it said I would have my own draw and would be charged if I used anyone else's draw. The room was so crammed with bunks I could not get my draw open. Another bunk was in the way. I could not get to the ladder to get up to my bunk because other people's belongings was blocking it. I just spoke out loud can you move your stuff so I can get to my bunk. The person the popped out of the bunk was a man. I did not request a mixed bunk room. As a single female traveling I did not feel safe being in a mixed room. I went down stairs and asked about that. She said all the female bunk rooms were full. Just due to her air about things and the whole situation I did not stay, but got a hotel room for probably double the price. She told me that I would not be refunded my money. I still did not stay.
