This hotel is WONDERFUL. It's like taking a step back in time. Real keys, not cards. Immaculate rooms, gracious service, beautiful surroundings. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast is wonderful and the restaurant for dinner is very good - great Indian and European dishes. The folks that work in the hotel are kind and responsive. Overall it was my favorite hotel in Scotland.

This is an absolutely beautiful place! The rooms are so charming. We had a view to the field across the street where baby lambs had just been born. The food was delicious. I like Indian food but others in our group would prefer something less spicy and there were plenty of options. We so enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is a real gem. The building has been restored beautifully and has an intimate feeling with elegant touches. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant serves delicious Indian food, among other dishes. I highly recommend this hotel.
