My family & I traveled from VA to attend a funeral on Thurs. 2/6/2025 - Sun. 2/9/2025 (3 nights at $86/per night) and made reservations at the Quality Inn in Wayne, NJ. We arrived at night and noticed that this hotel was NOTHING advertised in the website. We did not have a good feeling at arrival while pulling up at the front door. In my honest opinion, this Quality Hotel location should be CONDEMNED!!!! All the 3 rooms my family reserved rooms were dirty, filthy… bathrooms were not cleaned. We had to purchase cleaning supplies of our own to clean the sinks, toilets and tubs. Faucets and fixtures were leaking, non-working wall outlets, televisions with remotes that did not either work or have batteries, toilets did not want to half way flush. Out-dated furniture with dresser with missing knobs, chair with broken legs, lamp shades ripped, looks as if you tried to “tape up to repair”or “fix its appearance”. Beds looked too NASTY to sleep in, we slept on top of the covers in the clothes we traveled in fearing bed bug. We checked out early on Sat. 2/8/25 instead of Sun. 2/9/25 because we not subjecting ourselves and our family in the deplorable conditions of this hotel. We checked out Saturday morning and they still had audacity to charge us the full stay of the reservation.
I hope someone investigate and inspect this property; and also to be issued refunds to myself and daughter for inconvenience and discomfort we have endured during this difficult time!
