"We stayed in a villa a little bit down the hill. It was quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed the olive trees and the overall placement of the Villa de Medici. I would recommend this as a getaway for you alone or to take a group of friends or family. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful and I would stay here again on my next trip to Italy. "

"This was a very relaxing place to be for the first few days of my trip. It’s the perfect mix of Tuscan country and faster pace of downtown Florence. It was quiet at night except the calm buzz of cicadas outside. Absolutely picturesque views and easy to walk around. Loved access to a pool on super hot days. I’d absolutely come back to this hotel "

"This hotel was a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was nice and convenient. Even though it was not in the city center, it was a short taxi ride away (about €30). Good service and quiet hotel."

"This was a lovely hotel in a real residential neighborhood but with easy bus access to all attractions. The gelato place downstairs is amazing (be sure to admire the cabinets of finished cakes!), and the restaurants recommended by the hotel staff were amazing and very non-touristy. "

"Loved this place - probably about a 20min walk from Firenze SMN train station. Beautiful rooms, lovely staff, great location, lots of good restaurants literally round the corner. Would absolutely stay again and have been recommending to family and friends. "

"Our stay at Hotel David was fantastic. The hospitality was great and only a 20 minute walk to the centre. The hotel is clean, authentically Italian and a real find. And it has parking! "

"We had a great stay and would go back. The people at the front desk were friendly and the location was close and easily walkable to everything. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and it had a great view. It wasn’t a super fancy hotel, but just what we needed for our trip. "

"Beautiful hotel in an old building with rooms with high ceilings with nice decorations. Quiet, but within easy walking distance from Piazzale Michelangelo, as well as easy walking/bus distance from the city center. Parking was easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff. No breakfast, but lots of options nearby. Would happily stay here again!"

"As a relatively cheap option, it's good.
My room was somewhat noisy during the night, due to noise from the dining room above and poor sound insulation from the window. The bathroom was a little small and dated. But the staff were very nice, breakfast was good, and it met my needs. I'd be open to staying again."
