"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago. It has some hostel like qualities, but I've stayed in other hostels and this one is an upgrade. Reminds me of The Jane in New York. We especially love renting a full...

Only quibble was that the shower dial was a bit faulty and would not stay at the desired setting makin the water hotter than we wanted. Other than that our experience was excellent.
