Spacious, Comfortable Room. Excellent Location!
This was a very comfortable hotel for my 4-night stay in Barcelona. The room was quite large, and divided into a ‘sitting’ area and a ‘sleeping’ area. Big comfortable bed. Nice and spacious shower. I appreciated the Nespresso machine, as well as a kettle. The couch in the ‘sitting’ area did have some pretty glaring and unsightly stains, but I avoided sitting on those. Good proximity to the Ramblas and La Boqueria, and just a short walk to the cathedral or Licieu Metro station. Strangely placed above an indoor mall/shopping center, but easy enough to find. Staff were helpful and allowed me to leave my bag for a couple hours after checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location to explore the cities. It’s in the alley way without an obvious sign, so I could not find the place at first, but the staff was so friendly and helpful. After calling the front desk, he came straight down to meet us and took us up to the hotel.

Overall great stay and service
My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay. It was fairly easy to find the location (they give plenty of notices about directions after booking). The staff Tanya noticed a birthday and provided complimentary Cava! Other staff also retrieved my fiancés glasses after she dropped them from the balcony onto their roof! We preferred that a gate code was required after hours as it added a layer to security.

I was only there for 2 nights The room is cute, but there was hair all over my bed, and dust on the decorative pillows as if it was on the floor and they just picked it up and place it on the bed. I went to from desk they sent someone to change the sheets. The bathrooms was not clean and look really outdated. The second night there was a big crawling on the bed it was in the middle of the night and I woke with bites I reached out to Expedia for a refund and they contacted the hotel and refused to give me even a partial refund

I stayed here for a couple of days after a cruise. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. She helped with information on things to do, offered to help contact an excursion that was already booked when we had questions about a pickup, and coordinated a cab pickup for the airport. The bathroom was wonderful, but the room (single bed) was a bit small and the bed took up the entire room (however, big enough for 1 person). Just have the correct expectations. If I had one complaint, I was in the rooms by the elevator and you could hear people talking in the lobby. Everyone was respectful with the noise level, but it was noticeable.

Beautiful Hotel - Great Location
We enjoyed our stay at the Malda Suites. We were greeted by Llana, who welcomed us with sparkling wine and water upon arrival. She recommended places to eat and drink. We were literally located in the middle of a wonderful area for shopping and taking in all Gothic Quarter sites. Our only complaint was that other guests were loud while hanging out in the beautiful breakfast area of the lobby late into the evening, making it difficult to sleep (we were in Room 1, located close to this area). I would certainly visit again, but would request a room located away from this area.

Our taxi dropped us off on the street and pointed where to go but we couldn’t understand him and it took us awhile to find the place. It is inside a shopping mall and the elevator is in a corner. Once we found it, we loved the place. Coming and going was very secure and we walked to all the attractions and the waterfront with no problems. Coffee shops and bakeries and restaurants are at your fingertips. The room was spacious and extremely quiet at night. Great bed.
