We had a Garda room. You can imagine the surprice, because there wasn't any windows! Hotels com. informs that there is blackout curtains, but where? We managed to get better room by paying some extra. Shower mixer was also broken and I'm sure it still is.

This hotel is a great little gem in HCMC. The staff are a big selling point with their attentive manner and friendly demeanor (Jade was exceptional and makes a great ice coffee)The pool is shallow and the pool area is tight but still a pleasant area. The front of house staff are top notch.

The breakfast at Happy Life Grand Hotel & Sky Bar was great! In fact, the choices and quality of breakfast was better than Liberty Central Hotel's breakfast. The staff service was good as well. One staff by the name, "Jade" served nice ice coffee. Excellent! Hotel is within walking distance to Ben Thanh market but need to cross a chaotic traffic junction. I look forward to return to Happy Life Grand Hotel and Sky Bar again.
