Great staff but breakfast could improve
Everything was excellent except for the breakfast. The staff service was brilliant from the reception to the bar and restaurant. The room was very comfortable and I had one of the best night sleeps in years. The only niggle was the breakfast. I came to breakfast late and it was obvious that the contents were not freshly cooked in the “full Irish”.

The bar food was good but slightly over priced. I love evening walks but unfortunately there are no footpaths linking the hotel to Cavan town. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.
