Another good stay
Apart from Hotels.com not sending the booking to them it was an amazing stay. The receptionist was superb, helpful and apologetic. The room was cosy, warm with a comfortbale bed and a nice en-suite shower room. Food in the restaurant was amazing, great choice, fresh and delicious

Interesting venue
The venue is interesting and service very good. Room was well equipped. The bed, although in good condition was far too hard for my taste. Breakfast good. Lack of parking is not great, but their location doesn’t allow for this.

Little Gem in Bury St Edmunds
The accommodation was immaculate. The room was warm and inviting. The breakfast was excellent. Eggs benedict cooked to perfection was a dish I always wanted to try. It was beautiful, with two runny yolks. This place is a little gem in Bury St Edmunds 5 minute walk to the town center I cannot recommend it enough 5 stars.

We stayed here for one night and the service and staff were really lovely. Even though there was a pub quiz going on it was nice and quiet.

Great stay as usual
Great room, very clean, excellent facilities and very quiet. Beer that is brewed on site is amazing and breakfast is perfect. Why would you stay anywhere else when staying in Bury St Edmunds?

One night stay
We thought that it offered excellent value for money. The room itself was basic but had everything we required just needed to be updated and refreshed. Bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. We have to said the food and level of service was amazing. We arrived on the Sunday and booked in for their Sunday lunch. We had the beef brisket which just fell apart and could not wait to try the breakfast which was included with the booking and have to say it did not disappoint. We would definitely stay again

Great stay, lovely pub.
Great stay. Lovely pub, great food . Had the potato skins for a snack, delicious. Breakfast was possibly best I’ve had, had the “veggi” full and every component was perfect. Great beer at good prices. Lovely courtyard.,

Good base.
A nice place, although access to room was odd as you had to go outside and up what seemed like a fire escape stairs. Weather was awful, so we got wet. Not sure why we couldn’t access rooms through the pub as our room was clearly above the pub . Very comfortable bed, good shower. Great breakfast , shame only one member of staff on duty for all guests. No seating room inside pub to have a drink but covered garden was lovely with heaters and blankets, very warm and cozy. Staff on arrival were indifferent and no staff around as we left.

Nice room with comfy bed.
One night stay: breakfast included. Had a very tasty meal in the pub below. The room was very nice with a comfy bed, albeit the access was via fairly steep outside stairs. The room was a little noisy until closing time as a beer event was on, however once 'closing time' arrived, all noice ceased and we slept very well. We enjoyed our short stay.

The best place to stay in Bury St Edmunds
2nd time here, really is too good to be true, brews on beer, lovely outside space and the breakfast is amazing.

Really nice place. Room was very comfortable, not flash, but perfect for our needs with a good en-suite. Breakfast was great and the bar and outside courtyard area were very pleasant to have a drink and spend time. Would recommend.
