The stay was great. Only one sour note. I requested a bus trip to the airport at 02:15. When I checked out I was told that there was another guest and I was asked to take a seat. At 02:25 I asked where the other passenger was and I was advised that he had booked a 02:30 bus. I needed to be at the airport at 02:30. The fact that I had to wait for the 2:30 passenger was unacceptable. Would the Hilton have paid for any excess costs if I missed my flight. The impression that I got was that the second guest was more important than me.

The hotel is very nice and in excellent condition but a few things Check in was okay but my Hilton Honours wasn’t recognised. I was supped to get completely Wi fi but was told I wasn’t entitled to it because I booked with a third party. I eventually did get the completely wi fi but it took them 4 hours to approve it. The room was okay but there was no kettle. The air con wasn’t working properly and the bathroom light was flickering. These things need to be checked before the room is rented out, these were fixed but it was irritating. Check in staff need to be more informed. The breakfast was excellent so overall 8/10.

Went to resturant. Menu was misleading in selection. Food arrived and was not what i wanted. Resturant did not remove item from bill so i ended up paying for an item i did not want or eat. Only bad service was resturant. Rest of stay was good.

Initially on arrival I was very impressed with the hotel. However the staff are obviously not able to run a 5* hotel. The check in clerk was coughing and sneezing all the time. It made me feel disgusting, why was he there if he was sick? Had no water in room. Requested several times for more but none was ever sent up. Had to go to the bar my self to buy water. Went out for dinner and was promised a car to pick me up, however aftwr dinner when I called the hotel they ssid no driver was available and left ne stranded. This was a terrifying experience to have to flag down a can in Port Moresby late at night. Service in the feast restaurant was appalling. Appart from all the little things like diffeent sized wine glasses ewe were left waiting for over 30 minutes to order food one we received the menu, despite the restaurant only having 7 guests. When we asked to order dessert we were given a the menu again but no one ever came back! Starter plates were just left there once we received our mains. I am very disappointed

Hilton is an amazing hotel. Staff is also great and so happy to help. I’ve been going to Hilton Port Moresby very often in the last 12 months. Hotel rooms, food are always on top. Staff remembers me and what I usually eat and always happy to see me and welcoming. I feel like home. Well done to Hilton Port Moresby?

Internet is an issue if you do not book through the Hilton direct . Made a case saying it says free internet on the Hotels.com website so they gave it to me after several conversations.
