I’ve been traveling to Istanbul several times in the past 3 years and I would book a hotel to stay in. This time I decided to try a new experience and this guesthouse was really great. Clean and cozy facilities with nice rooftop restaurant, friendly staff available 24/7, and great location approximately 6 min walk from Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet station. I really enjoyed staying here! Very easy recommendation.

Memorable First Stay @ Agora!
Stayed in a clean and comfortable newly refurbished room with nice decor. The space was of a decent size, and internet worked well too. Breakfast did lack a little variety, but was sufficient and tasty. Location is also very convenient being in close walking distance to several famous attractions as well as shops and restaurants. The staff were also welcoming and helpful, assisting us with luggage storage and a later checkout. I want to make a special mention of Ms Mai who quickly arranged special delivery of a bag to the airport we had accidentally left behind. Thanks again!

Best Hostel Guesthouse anywhere in the World *****
Arrived in Istanbul new Airport 4am phoned Agora guesthouse about 06;am The response was to encourage me to get a taxi and come right over. After storing my luggage they asked me to stay for breakfast at 8am! All thanks to AdA who seems to be a highly trained Chef! An amazing array of fruit, breads, eggs, even hot pancakes! From the chambermaids to management everyone played their part with an enthusiasm I had never experienced before, This has to be the best run Guesthouse / Hostel I have stayed in anywhere in the World no one else has come close to delivering the complete package of going the extra mile like Agora in Istanbul! Nothing was to much for them! The cleaning lady provided clothes hangers for my own use without me asking! Yousef carried out his duties with great skill at reception no matter how many questions were being asked of him by numerous guests from all over the world. For example I had asked the best way to get to the New International Train Station that had just recently opened. Not easy giving directions when the starting point is in Europe and the Train Station is in Asia. But zYousef put me in touch with the correct member of Staff who wrote down precise instructions on how to get there the mot
