Incredible hospitality
We had a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. The morning breakfast was outstanding, and the food served came from the local artisan shops. The pub was very cozy and enjoyable. The hosts were so very gracious and kind and they helped us make wonderful travel plans in the area and gave us insight into the history of the area. I highly recommend visiting the Strickland Arms!

Yes it was a little way off the motorway but it was peaceful. Food was very good for a country pub, a good selection of drinks of all kinds, and breakfast included - all boxes ticked. AND our room in the main building was well appointed and comfy. Downside (and being really picky) rear of property not Kew gardens, and breakfast fruit was straight out of a very cold fridge.

Fabulous find, Anton & Penny who own and run the pub are so lovely and made us feel at home. Staff are lovely, food is home cooked and delish, literally cannot wait to come back for a little break.

We spent one night as a family of four in a yurt and really enjoyed the unique experience! The king-sized bed, bunk beds, adorable windows, shower pressure, and especially the Strickland Arms pub (great evening meal--my son thought the pizza worthy of NYC-- + lovely homemade breakfast) were all fantastic. The bathroom was of ample size, but the toilet was a bit noisy (a product of the system, I believe, but it worked perfectly). A special "thank you" to the staff and owners, who were all lovely and gave us advice about what to see and do in the area. We definitely recommend to anyone and would stay there again in an instant.

Amazing place! Staff are wonderful, food was amazing! Great choice of drinks. We stayed in one of the outside cabins which was amazing! Will definitely come back!

Beautiful wooden hut purpose built . Beds very large and comfortable , all clean and new. Very friendly hosts. Food delicious with large selection for all tastes. Great for families.
