Comfortable, room was very clean and neat The place is nearer to shopping malls and the hospital I was going to be admitted at, so overall it was convenient for me, and a very quiet place
conveniently close to Menlyn Mall, and many other facilities. Everyone was very accommodating
They refused to get us entry. These guys fraudulent us our money. It must be reported.
Check in late, and was helped getting settled, clean room and great area
After we arranged with them that our plane would only land after 20:00 the evening that we would need to book into Menlyn Apartments which is later than their normal booking time. We were assured that someone will be available to open for us. We arrived later that evening and stood outside for 30min where we tried to phone them but no one answered. The uber driver hooted but no one came out to help. This resulted in us finding a new place to stay for our trip since we had absolutely poor service. We also lost R1860 because of their mistake.
I never stayed at Menlyn apartment: the reason - I received a landline number vai hotel.com after I made the booking. I arranged via your website that I will arrive between 8-9 pm. arriving at 20.15 fist struggle to find the entrance gate whicj is not in Gert potgieter as indicated on the given address.... at the gate there was no bell.. I then phone the given number with no rang tone. I bright my lights and later even blow the hooter - I was desperate, I was in a city from Tzaneen , Limpopo and urgently need accommodation - I tried the only given number on the booking --several times with no response. I left the area and drive to a hotel where I previously slept and had to pay again for my newly found accommodation for two night. At about 22.15 the night I received a phone call of the owner/ manager who question my arrival - I told him what happened and asked him to refund me. he said that we can discussed it in the morning, needless to say that I never heared of him again. I triend to phone him in the morning but he didn't respond to my call - I then sent him my banking details without any reply. i'm very disappointed in hotels.com. I looked for a contact number / email address to report this incident but wasn't successful. I will appreciate it if you can make sure about the contact detail given to us after booking. you will see that i'm a regular client and hope that you can assist me in this matter.
