As a family of four, we loved our 3 night stay at Silk Sense Resort. Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We visited the spa daily for amazing massages, which we highly recommend. The complimentary shuttle service to and from Hoi An Old Town was very convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely recommend staying at the Silk Sense resort.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious & comfortable. However, this is a very family friendly hotel and whilst that’s perfect if you have a family, we wanted something more serene and relaxing. The pool was not a relaxing place to be at all. All of the staff were excellent apart from round by the pool - in a 5 star hotel I would expect someone to come and check on you / take your order from the sunbed but not once did that happen. The spa was good quality and the deals they had on were much appreciated otherwise it would be far too expensive. The food at breakfast is fantastic - so much choice and very good quality. The rest of the food on offer that we tried was very poor. You’re better going to some of the cafes round the corner, which are much better and cheaper. For us, we wouldn’t return but I think if you’re a family with young children it’s a great choice.

We had such a great stay at silk sense, the hospitality was amazing, staff went out of there way to learn our names and help us with anything they could. Nothing was too much trouble! Particular shout outs to Hung and Ly who were just so lovely and made our stay extra special. The pool was big and great for all the family. So glad we stayed a little way out of town with the kids, free shuttle buses were plentiful. Breakfast was amazing. Family room was spacious with privacy for Mum and Dad, beds were super comfy

Location is perfect, between river and beach away from the noise of town. Easy transport options with shuttle bus, or taxis/grab. Breakfast was always an abundance and room was always well stocked with tea, coffee, snacks and water. Excellent amenities, cleanliness, and couldn't recommend more.

We had a fabulous time in Vietnam but Hoi An was definitely the highlight. We were concerned that we should have stayed in town but with Grab taxis costing 5 GBP we realised we made an excellent choice. Lounged by the pool, visited their beach resort, had great breakfasts and used the free shuttle to the fullest extent. After 4 days we said a tearful goodbye to the wonderful receptionist/staff member, Ly who has one of the loveliest smiles! Thoroughly recommend the Silk Sense for all of the above reasons.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding service from spa reception bar and restaurant staff. We had an issue with the affiliated travel operator for snorkelling and scuba diving experience (misleading and terrible overall) and the front staff and assistant manager took time to listen to our feedback, understand the issue and help us provide a solution. Caring and personalised service altogether!

This was a clean hotel with many amenities. They went above and beyond including providing a small fruit basket upon arrival, complimentary water and snacks as well as towels were replenished daily. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was huge. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of food as well as made to order coffee. We loved our daily breakfast while sitting outside and enjoying the view. The only negatives were the restaurant food was our least favorite we had during our week long trip. The restaurant and salon were also extremely overpriced compared to all of the other restaurants and spas within walking distance. You can get your nails done outside of the resort for 1/3 of the price. The shuttle was also a bit disappointing. It doesn’t run all day long to the beach or Hoi An and you also have to schedule it at least 1 hour in advance. I would prefer that the shuttle just run back and forth all day and you hop on when you’re ready. It was a great resort and I would consider staying again if I go back to Vietnam!

We had a wonderful stay at Silk Sense which is a beautiful resort with friendly staff, and a sustainable philosophy as well. Our room 409 was spacious and clean, with a balcony view of the river. My partner is gluten free and vegetarian, and initially we had an issue with their menu which showed a dish as being gluten free but it wasn't. After flagging this with management, they rectified it the next day by ensuring there were gf breakfast options throughout our stay, including gf bread and treats. The location is peaceful, 15 minutes away from the chaos of Hoi An old town. Other features: - large pool with pool-side service - daily complimentary purified bottled water - gluten free specific menu - free shuttle bus into Hoi An old town and nearby beach - free bicicyle use and helmet - free activites such as pottery A special mention: Thuy the manager was very helpful and friendly, she provided advice about activites as well as helped with the gluten free menu.

Lovely staff and lovely hotel. 15 minute taxi out of Old Town, and Grabs are easy to get. Shower over bath was difficult to use but we made do. Hotel is very eco friendly. The snacks they provide are a nice touch. Lots of activities provided by the hotel. Breakfast was okay - eggs made to order and coffee were great. Rooms immaculately clean. Would be a lovely place to enjoy the pool, but we came in the wrong season.
