Room was incredibly small but not unexpected. Location was great and staff spoke enough English to meet our needs. Baths were nice.
To confuse things, there is another Centurion hotel in the same general area so make sure you know which one is which!

Not comfortable
We had a Japanese style room with tatami mat and bed on floor. It was a poor choice for us due to mobility limitations on and off floor. We were not able to change our room due to our long days out of hotel. I would not book this room again

It was a short stay for one night as we flew into Narita and were taking the bullet train next morning. Conveniently located and the bed was comfortable and clean. The only consideration is that the room was very tiny and a bit tight for three adults with three suitcases.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. There are 2 building, make sure you stay in the main building vs the annex. I think the annex use to be smoking room, there are still lingering smell of the past even though it is currently a non-smoking facility. This is my go to place whenever I visit Tokyo. clean room, friendly staff, amazing onsen to relax in after a long day of exploring the city.

Ok for a night
Window leads to the wall of the other building so it blocks daylight. Old hotel, rooms are really narrow and small. It's OK for a night and near train station. Excellent service from the employees. They really want to make you enjoy your stay

Ok for a short trip
Hotel is located in a busy street food. We stayed in another building opposite of the reception and bath so you have to walk there to use the bath. Amenities are available at reception. Hotel provided tea but not coffee. The rooms do smell a bit and it has a lot of dust on the wall.

It was a great location in Ueno with a public spa. The rooms were quite small for a couple, a little older, but good for a short trip. Overall, the front desk was helpful in check in and check out.

It was a little small for my family of 3 but the staff was great and I’d stay there again by myself if with just one other person

Recent stay with kids
We booked a family room and it was absolutely perfect in size and comfort. The hotel has an onsen and I very much liked the sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi. On the last day I checked out of the room on time and asked if I could have 15 min in the onsen to finish getting ready and they said no.

The property rating was above 8 some decided to book it. We arrived midnight and were super tired. However, the property was in a very bad condition. Outdated furniture, laminated ceiling walls, outdated old carpet, small bathroom not to mention middle of the night AC started leaking and then stopped working. It was a nightmare. The front desk person was nice and assisted as much as he could, cleaned up and brought fans. It was all so super inconvenient that we checked out the morning. Got refunded only for 1 night even though the facility was absolutely ridiculous. Never expected a hotel of this standard in Japan. Huge disappointment.

A great location. 6 mins walk from Ueno Station. It is surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room is small but good enough for 1 night.

The hotel was just OK unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to use the spa. The beds were super comfy and really nice pillows compared to the other hotels. We stayed at your our trip in Japan. In the bathroom was super clean and super small. The hotel in general was looking a little bit tired and could use a facelift
