Was hard to find at first. Nowhere in the booking description was it clear that this is just some students room that was cleaned out and was used as a room in a “hotel” The room was clean. No TV though. The parking was a good 10minute walk away from the building. Even though breakfast was included. We only received breakfast vouchers for 1 person, even though we were a party of 2. The campus did feel relatively safe

Great place when you’re on a budget.
SAIT is a great place to stay during Stampede if you’re on a budget. Standard room doesn’t have AC but when you’re 10 floors up, the wind blows in the windows pretty good. Lots of room, full size fridge. Average University Dorm room suite. Typical University bureaucracy parking. You can’t park overnight in the lot by the entrance or Parking control will ticket you…so that lot sits mostly empty. The free parking is a 10 minute walk away in the parkade…which is OK…I just think the tower should have full control over the lot that everyone knows, was put there for the towers use.

4/10 Fair

It was alright. Staff were very strange but some were nice and helpful. They were mainly students so probably not paid much so some had an attitude. Very hard building to find even secirity did not know to show or offer direction. Take note of the name and what it looks like in photo. It is at least 10mins walk to transit. Room was adequate. Absolutely no cooking eqipment in certain rooms. Not even a kettle. There is a fridge, sink and cooker but nothing else. In the evening it took a long time to get hot water from anywhere. No water machine around buidling so has to buy or drink from tap. Bed very high so good to climb for short people, including myself.

2/10 Poor

This was the worst stay I've ever had. The bed is a horrible, extremely dated mattress, absolutely not suitable for more than 1 person, and it sinks in the middle - the sheets are not fitted and fall off, and the pillows are unbearable. There is no duvet or blanket. The tub doesn't drain, there is no air so you have to keep the window open. The kitchen has no cutlery AT ALL - nothing, just an empty kitchen with no plates or forks or anything. Be prepared to walk very far to your car parking spot.

The place did the trick for a few nights. Lack of A/C was difficult and the un-stocked kitchen.. however the location was great, proximity to food/restaurants and the LRT station. The place was very clean.

Our whole group reserved 3 separate rooms. We varied from age 5 to 42 yr and we all had a good stay. Please don't expect luxury if you didn't pay for it! Bring your own pots, plates, cups, utensils, dishsoap if you plan to use the kitchen. (Note: yes all cupboards are empty) Parking is about 5min walk away Driving to downtown is about 7min. Breakfast has no proteïne included, but what do you expect for the amount you paid for 😉 The young ladies at the front desk are very professional The only not so pleasant remark I haveis that you get only one main key with 2 room keys. Every time we came back separate I had to ask to get buzzed in
