No shuttle service, unknown hotel
If anyone is looking for a hotel near the Frankfurt airport, I would advise them not to book Moerfelden-Walldorf (also called Airport Hotel Walldorf). We did because it appeared to be the closest one in our price range, and it had shuttle service. No one who works with hotel shuttles at the airport and no one at the information center at Frankfurt Airport had ever heard of it. The info center people, based on the address, decided it had probably changed its name and arranged a cab for us to the hotel at that address. Only it was the wrong hotel and not quite the same address. We walked a mile (according to my Fitbit) in the dark in who-knows-where, pulling our suitcases behind us, and thanks to Google Maps, found the hotel. By then we'd lost a good couple of hours that we could have been sleeping before an early flight. The "shuttle service" turned out to be an arrangement with a taxi company. For the $50 we spent on taxis, we could have found a hotel that actually did have a shuttle and that the locals were aware of. What a nightmare of a last night in Europe!

Basic hotel in an industrial/commercial area approx. 10-15 min from the airport. No frills, clean and good for a night before an early flight. Breakfast optional.

Was not happy with the shuttle Was supposed to have one from airport but had to take taxi. I called the hotel but they did not even try to help. Was expensive. Will not go back and regret choosing that itinerary
