The Freehand Hotel has a very nice lobby, a good restaurant, and good-enough rooms. It was somewhat reasonably priced, at least compared to other hotels nearby. Every person we interacted with who worked at the hotel -- front desk, housekeeping, security -- was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Big however: There is a club in the hotel. The club played blasting music that we could hear in our room. The club was still playing music at 4 am, when I finally went to the front desk to complain. It was simply impossible to sleep.
Regardless of the wonderful staff, you couldn't pay me enough to go back to this place.
