Great location friendly staff

I really liked our stay at the hotel. Perfect location and the staff were amazing.

Studio 44 exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed there twice with an overnight stay in Byblos in the middle of our short Lebanon holiday. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful and storing our bags was no issue. Location is excellent for exploring the Hamra district and behold. In fact we roamed near and far on foot with plenty of choice when it comes to eating , drinking and shopping. On our return to Beirut we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Junior Suite. I would highly recommend Studio 44 for both business and pleasure - short or long stay. Take advantage of the airport transfers. They are cheaper than negotiating the fares on your own.

Beware that a “king size” in the description is not a North American king size. Some hotel staff are very rude. The housekeeping needs to be drastically improved. We used cups in the room, there was no dish soap in the mini kitchen. Housekeeping rinsed the cups and left them on the wet counter (tea stains still on the inside of the cup). We spilled some food on our bed, instead of replacing the sheets, they flipped them so the stain was touching the mattress instead. All that being said - you get what you pay for. Location is decent if you want to be in Hamra.

This hotel is in a nice local area just off the main Hamra street with everything you need at your fingertip. The rooms with a kitchenette and a seating area are clean and well decorated and the staff are polite and efficient.

I gave this Apart-Hotel 3.5 out of 5 for it's good quality/price, location, friendliness of staff, and other positive reviews such as laundry, amenities, etc. Now the one bad point, and major issue I must say (despite what you may read from other ratings in opposite to me): the internet connection is the slowest and most unreliable I have experienced in my 6 weeks stay in Beirut. I stayed 3 weeks in two other apart-hotels, and 3 weeks here, Studio 44 had the worst connection by far, like having to wait endlessly for a simple webpage page to open. You can forget about youtube and dream about Netflix, even to do a 1GB upgrade on my iPad took one entire night. So throughout my stay, I had to rely on my mobile handset's hotspot which ended up costing me $hundreds more.
