The resort was amazing at first for the first few days. Room was beautiful, view amazing. Stay seemed great in the beginning. Towards the end I noticed (mostly the women staff) being very rude and making comments under their breaths to each other. I took it as being judgmental (hating) bc I look different than they do, may dress differently. I came to the resort to get away and grieve in peace alone after loosing my mother. NOT TO BE JUDGED AND TALKED ABOUT. My stay should have been peaceful. I spent over 3000$ all together at the resort and got amazingly beautiful photos taken and loved the spa! Besides the women’s attitudes at the front reception and especially excursion desk. At check out they blew me off like I was the least of their concern after I spent thousands and waited in the heat for my taxi after requesting it at least an hour prior and was running late to catch my flight with four children anticipating my return. I will be returning to Jamaica but not this resort. Be sweet to people because you never know what they might be going through.

The staff and food choices was excellent. We did have a small leak in room because of the ac. They came and fits it right away. No other issue. The staff did make a couple of followup phone calls to make sure we had no other issues. I would go back.

Highly recommend!
I love this resort! Great hospitality and great service overall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially couples. Food was really good and drinks were good as well. I love the 24 hour room service. I also booked a spa and that was AMAZING. I would recommend every one to try it… Only 2 cons I would say is that the pools close a little early for me, 7pm and they should add like a club at night. Also I like how far it was from the main road.

Was disappointed with the service at the resort. Everyday it was somthing new that was lacking. To be honest it felt like when I would ask or inquire about somthing it was like I was bothering the staff. Service at the pool and beach were non existent as well as the front desk. The managers Mrs Lawerence and Shane Hassan were great. But there is only so much they can do. Bar tenders were great. I have been to three other excellence resorts this was the first time that I had this much lack of service. There was also a lot of little things that added up. I would not return.

Excellent stay! The only note i have is that the buildings are showing major signs of wear and tear - but u had to really pay attention to notice it. They also were affected by a hurricaine recently so I didnt let this bother me too much. Other than this, we had an excellent stay!

We were blown away by Excellence Oyster Bay, it was even more beautiful in person. The Excellence Club was definitely worth it for the better beach areas and access to the club restaurants. The staff is incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing. Our favorites were the Oxtail from the Caribbean Grove and the jerk chicken. Aroma was such a nice touch with the coffee bar. I highly recommend this property and plan to come back myself.
