Sayab Hostel

A good place to stay. Near to downtown and many places to visit in playa del Carmen.

Ambiente excelente, los hostess son super amables y amigables. Siempre se respeto mucho mis cosas y mi persona. Limpieza, todo super recomendado. Miguel me ayudo a ubicarme y darme recomendaciones de lugares donde ir, muy servicial. Julian igual, muy servicial y amable. El chef comida deli, buen sabor (es opcional comer ahi, pero me parecio una buena idea y es economico), buenas opciones en la semana. Ubicación grandiosa, cerca de la 5ta, de bares, de la playa.

La atención del personal, increíble, excepto el chico argentino del turno nocturno en recepción. Arrogante, pedante, antipático. Evitenlo y todo lo demas es perfecto

Not impressive but In general terms, great value for money, Great location, atmosphere and supportive staff. It is interesting that most of the guests and staff are Argentinian :) Note:

I had ask to extend my stay and I was told that no beds were available. I notice that there were 4 other beds that were avaible, so I went to hotels.com to book a reservation for another night. I was able to and still was denied to extend. I ask what was the reason. The lady at the front desk could not give me an answer. I asked to speak with the manager and then another man went down the street to call the police once I stated I was going to give a bad review on Hotels.com, Google and Facebook. I was asked to leave once the police arrived 5 hours before checkout without a refund. Highly disappointed with the service.

Always a pleasure to stay at Sayab. I'm bias as I'm a repeat customer. + Great location. + Great and unique pool experience. + Friendly staff. - Rooms do not offer full size lockers.

Room was not air-conditioned and considering 8 beds in one room was very stuffy and smelly. The staff assisting and almost all guests were Argentinians so pretty much felt like was an outsider but was fine with me as I minded my own business. Otherwise the bathrooms were clean. There is a pool, which is cool. Very loud at nights but if you don't mind this would be for you. Maybe would return.
