Hotel Hötorget

Positives: modern rooms and shower. Downsides: no front desk attendant, you need to call them on your phone which can be a huge inconvenience if you don't have local cell coverage; bedsheet had an old stain on them; the wifi reception was very poor in my room so i had to sit close to the door to get it to work but it would still disconnect often; there was a bright light outside my window that even the dark curtains couldn't mask; the walls and floors are thin so you can easily hear your neighbors, bit once it was late it was quiet; they had a kettle and coffee but only glasses not mugs to drink with. I changed my plans and only stayed one night as a result and selected the Hotel Gamla Stan instead which was worth the higher price.

Good location, 10min walk to Central Station. Rooms and bathrooms are small. NO elevator!. Good breakfast

Expensive with little of what would meet a standard expected for the cost. Television channels were limited to antenna And only a few useless channels. Room had a musty odor. I won’t be going back.

Location was great. However, there is no elevator. Not great with a 50 lb suitcase. The bathrooms were weird. The shower was tiny and not only did the entire bathroom get wet when you took a shower, but the door slid outside the bathroom and left a 2 inch gap where water escaped to the carpet. My in law's room was entered through this funky bathroom.

The location was great and so was the room. The hotel did not have an elevator and the breakfast was not that great!

Staff was amazing, breakfast was great, location was excellent and everything is very clean and well maintained. No elevator so if you are hauling big backs from the states, beware and showers are very small. I'm 6'4 so they were tight. Otherwise an excellent hotel!

The hotel was conveniently located near a subway station. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately the bracket to hold the shower head was broken, and the door lock was broken on the second day. I asked the front desk to reserve a bigger taxi to take my family to the airport, a station wagon or a minivan. But she ordered a Mercedes Sprinter that costed hundreds of Swedish Krones more.

Overall it was good and a good experience. We appreciated that it was an older building - and that the breakfast was in their sort of funky underground space. For a family of four that includes young kids, the lack of an elevator to our floor was an unpleasant surprise. We had a lot of bags to deal with so taking multiple trips to bring them up and down wasn’t great. We wish we’d been given a heads up before reserving our room

Great location: around 12 min walk to central station. Close to grocery stores and shopping area. 25min walk to the old town. Breakfast was more than enough... fullfilling and yummy! Beds and pillows: SUPER comfortable! Bathroom was small but was clean and it looked like it was recently renovated. The only down side: there was no elevator and we got a room on the third floor (4th floor- US) It was a great exercise though. Staff was respectful, and very attentive. Overall, my 2 kids and I liked it very much and we recommend it!

Convenient location. Clean. The bedrooms upstairs were nicer than the ones on the first floor.
