We had a great stay at Strömstad Camping in one of the newer “hotel rooms” for 2 people. The room was exactly like the picture. The area itself was very clean and organised. We will probably come one back the next time we visit Strömstad.

Excellent Cabin Camping Accommodations
Great location with camping cabins. Comfortable small sleeping cabin with common restroom and shower facility approximately 75 yards away. Well stocked Camping and grocery store with very friendly staff. All facilities were extremely clean and well maintained. Great views of the subset over Strömstad harbor. Nice deck with table and two chairs. Definitely would go there again.

Nice cottage next to great scenaries
the location isnt perfect, but provided that there is no public transports on the island, the distance from the central train station and the harbour is walkable, and not too far. there are plenty of restaruants in the centre and a big supermarket which provides pretty much everything we needed. It would be better to go there with a vehicle because the cottages are located on a hill. But it is worth staying and worth the money! But going in winter is not recommended because of the weather and pretty much everything is closed at the time.

Verdens beste,hyggeligste caming og betjening.
Det er helt fantastisk plass og betjening på campingen. Det er rent i hele området. Nærhet til masse butikker og sjø. Hyttene er store og romslige og har SLT du trenger av kokeutstyr, spise utstyr, har ett lite kjøleskap med frys og en micro, kaffetrakter, ja selv noen kaffe filter ligger der, vannkoker og selvsagt støvsuger, vaskebøtte, vaskemiddler til å bruke når en vasker ut av hytta etter bruk og det er salo, vadkeklut og oppvaskbørste. Så en KOMPLETT hytte. Hytta er god og varm, det er varme i gulvet på badet - som er stort og romslig og har en stor dusj, i stua er det filt teppe og det er varmepumpe ( den sto på 20°c når vi kom - men kan settes opp om det er surt og kaldt ute) utenfor hytta er det en stor romdlog terasse ( eller veranda på våres hytte ) der er det ett rundt bord og 2 stoler, det er el markise en kan bruke på solfylte dager ( sikkert også om det regner og en vil ut å ta seg en røyk da hytta SELVSAGT er røykefri ) det er også endel dyrefrie hytter dvs der man ikke kan ta med kjæledyret, men de har hytter hvor man kan ta med sine kjæledyr. Ellers er det STOR , god plass for campingbiler og campingvogner. Området har bom ved inngangen og de som bor på områden får bombrikke til bom. Det er regler på plassen bla at mellom kl 23.00 og 07.00 skal det være stille og det er det både nå på vinteren og på sommeren ( vi er der 1xmnd så har vært der på alle årstider og høytider ) anbefales også VARMT å være der på sommeren pga da skjer det mye gøy for barns.

Jeg mottok aldri en sms med en kode ved sen ankomst. Da vi skulle check in så var det stengt og self check in maskinen var ødelagt. Vi måtte ringe nattevakten og han fant ikke bestillingen vår. De hadde heldigvis lagt ut noen flere nøkler til andre hytter. Vi fikk en av de og måtte snakke med resepsjonen neste dag. De var fortsatt stengt selvom om vi dro kl 09. Fine hytter, men mye rot før man kom seg inn i en.
