Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows

Great staff! Very accommodating, polite and helpful!

Good location... Rooms are small and not practical. We did not have hot water in the shower. Overall good, but slightly overpriced for what you get.

We had an amazing 2 night stay to celebrate my husbands birthday. The staff was so great. We arrived late and my husband needed to eat so asked the chef at the on sight restaurant to make him whatever the chef wanted to cook and the chef came back with the best fish dish. Speaking of the restaurant, I typically don’t have high hopes for on sight restaurants but Weft and Warp was wonderful. The bungalow are spacious and nicely decorated with private patios in the back. We stayed in bungalow 19 literally steps from the turquoise pool which was lively and great for families. There is also an adult pool where we spent most of our time that was very chill and right outside the spa. Andaz is located perfectly, as there are stores and restaurants right down the street yet when on the property you feel like you are far away. The property also offers drop off and pick up from the nearby shops. Point of the story; we will be back!!!!!!

My only knock on the property is with such a low occupancy and no one using them, they should have discounted the pool side cabanas, $300 was just not worth it for what you got. It was more than our room rate.

Staff is very nice and helpful! Had a great greeting upon arrival with a cold courtesy beer that hit the spot given current temperature was 106F Room was very comfortable and complementary breakfast was delicous.

The place was very nice and I enjoyed my stay but the staff was not very friendly. A lot of staff was just plain rude and always responded with attitude. At the spa I was treated very badly payed $80 for a burger and some chicken bites because they don’t mention the 16$ delivery fee they charged me and charged me for alcoholic drinks when I got virgin drinks. I was very dissapointed and overall do not recommend.

We recently stayed in a suite here and my wife was stung by a scorpion in bed on our last night. Absolute nightmare fuel. This is Arizona and all so I suppose it could happen anywhere but when I called the front desk to tell them about the incident so the cleaning crew could be careful, they didn’t seem at all shocked. They definitely need to better protect their guests from dangerous pests like this, especially considering the cost of the reservation.

The service was great from the moment we arrived. The Valet, John, was terrific and Carlos at check in as well. The property is fantastic with 3 pools, spa and other amenities. The room was great as well. My only issue is that there were ants in the bathroom but they quickly remedied this with a move to another room. In that room, the coffee maker didn't work but they likely didn't know until I informed them at checkout. The restaurant food and service was great.

I've always enjoyed staying at the Andaz when I am in Scottsdale. Service is great... rooms are fantastic. Even now, during C-19, they have worked hard to keep up the quality of this hotel
