Amazing Boutique B&B in pure nature
Simpe and Short, Jungshoved Praestegard is a super Boutique B&B. Super friendly and welcoming Owners, Top located in the nature and on the Baltic Sea. Awsome rooms, fantastic room decoration, very good breakfast. this place simply offers everything one wishes for a nice and relaxing break in a magic place, thank you Anette and Filip, you have a heart breaking place and we sure will be back in 2024

I usually do not post reviews at Expedia but I think it is important to warn about the experience, I recently had at Jungshoved Præstegård. When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation. When she, a young woman from Ukraine, saw my reaction, she was kind enough to offer me a room with a bathroom, because, as she said, you are the only guest anyway. I was of course happy with the solution and enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend for another night. Later, I met the owner of the place, who appeared very forthcoming and nice until she at checkout in a very unpleasant way informed me, that the room I had occupied was much more expensive than the one I had paid for and on a very businesslike way presented me with an extra charge of 3000 kroner. The amount included 3 breakfasts but still, an outrageous amount, in particular since I was not informed that the change of room would be charged on top of what I already had paid. When I tried to challenge the amount, she became very agitated and consequently I decided to pay and put the entire thing on my very short list of unfortunate travel experiences. To add to the bad attitude, I was denied a late check out, even though the place was empty and no one else needed the room.

Hokey, not charming
We chose this hotel mostly because it had a lovely high rating, but think it maybe has since changed ownership? Weird tchotchkes all over the place, manager's / owner's (?) kids screaming in the kitchen... all a little hokey, without the charm you might have expected from the photos. We were charged extra for the breakfast btw which at 300DKK for 2 was shockingly bad. A few bits of supermarket cold cuts, some windfall apples and awful ginger(?) coffee so bad I couldn't drink it. Pretty location on the water, button't keep the high ratings for long if this is the best they can do. Certainly wouldn't recommend at the price.

Unikke Jungshoved Præstegaard
Jungshoved Præstegaard er et kapitel for sig. Sjældent er vi efter søgning af et B&B ophold, landet i et overnatningsforhold så dejligt som dette sted. Man modtages med stor venlighed og imødekommenhed. Vi fik opgraderet vort værelse for samme pris og blev ellers orienteret om stedet mange muligheder og services. Noget B&B sted er der egentlig ikke tale om. Stedet omtaler da også sig selv som hotel, hvad da også er mere berettiget. Et hotel med mangeartede - og typer værelser, for enhver smag. Varierende lige fra et shelter og hytte lige ned til fjorden til prinsessværelser med king size senge. Værelser med og uden WC og bad. Alle muligheder åbne. Altsammen til overkommelig priser, der nok også vil blive oplevet som matchende til priser for hotelværelser. Dog; den helt formidable egn, natur, sjæl, service m.v. findes der kun få hoteller der har. Morgenmaden - der ikke er inkluderet i værelsesprisen - er ganske udsøgt med blandt andet hjemmegjorte lækkerier og frit valg af teer og flere kaffeformer. Varme drikke man for øvrigt på andre tidspunkter og efter behov er velkommne til, at tappe af. Derudover er der et stort udvalg af andre drikkevarer og confecture som man noterer forbruget af og som afregnes ved afrejse. Et yderst dedikeret personale og en fortællerlysten ejer der over 10-15 år har gjort stedet til en - og med rette - særdeles eftertragtet plet på Gøngehøvdingens Jungshoved, hvor man foruden overnatning, tillige kan afholde kurser og fester. Absolut et besøg værd.
