Beware not what it looks like online
On arrival we had made it in later in the evening we had gotten our keys and once handed to us the clerk takes them back and hands them to the couple behind us. We then get our keys for our room and it’s not even the bed size requested so came back down got another set of keys walk into that room and it had just been painted earlier and smelled like paint and mold so asked to be moved because of my service animal and having migraines and they lady had attitude about it and put us in another room which was a tad bit better but not by much. The next day I was questioned about my service animal and made a big deal about it and was going to charge me for him and make us move into another room. The hotel needs to work on customer service and being updated about service animals and the laws about them. I know they are trying to do better on upgrades, but please make staff aware not to put people in newly painted rooms.

Quick Stay for an individual.
I had read the reviews about this hotel and wondered how bad could it be? It wasn't as bad, but still way below average. I am being nice by the way, I was by myself. I would have not brought my wife and kids to this place. The overall place is not a rough place that I noticed, but I did smell some guests that had a strong Marijuana scent. My 1st room did not lock, the other room I was offered did was not completely clean and the key card lost its programming every day that I was there and every day I had to wait anywhere from 10-30mins at the lobby to get service. This Hotel is mostly for individuals that need a place to spend a night and keep on going.

Quick out of town trip
The beds were comfortable and the room was fairly clean. Limited parking at 3am when we arrived for check in and there were three vehicles parked and left under the awning overnight (they were parked there the next morning) and it was raining so that left us getting our luggage from the car parked in the back of the lot in the dark in the rain. The breakfast was about as expected: muffins, toast, cereal pour containers, waffle maker, oatmeal packets and a juice/coffee machine. In room fridge was a fridge and a freezer but not very big. Overall a good stay for a two night trip, we would stay here again.

Weekend Trip
First time in Savannah, had to get something same day and for what it was - it was a pretty decent stay. Check in and check out was smooth. Beds were actually pretty comfy but I do think cleanliness could be better for the bathroom sink. You could hear a bit of noise from the other rooms but nothing disturbed us completely. Overall it did the job for what we needed on a weekend trip. Love that it was pet friendly.

Girls weekend
Overall, the stay was pretty great and the beds were decently comfortable. It seemed a bit dated. Some of the outlets didn’t work as well as the others (outlet in the bathroom had to have the hairdryer almost falling out to work). I really liked how dark it got with the shades fully drawn which isn’t usually the case. I was also able to get the room adequately cooled and felt like I was able to breathe easier. I didn’t like the way the shower curtain tilted and caused water to spray all over the floor (shower curtain couldn’t be pulled all the way shut), and there definitely wasn’t enough towels for the room.

OK but there is a pet fee they don’t tell you
Booker beware there is an undisclosed $53 ($50 plus somehow taxes) non-refundable pet fee “deposit” that is only revealed at check in at the hotel front desk & it’s too late to cancel & get a refund. It was just an ok hotel to stay in a pinch, but way overpriced when you have to account for an extra $53. I would not have booked here if the pet fee had been disclosed up front. And when it finally was told to me at the very last second before handing me my room keys, I was told it was refundable. Surprise 2 weeks later & it is still on my credit card statement. And no my dog did not cause any damage. Room smelled musty, none of the vending machines worked, & the elevator was out of service. The bed was probably one of the more comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in, but I’d recommend an extra pillow! Based on what it ultimately cost me, I would not recommend.

Iris business
The people working the front counter (when they were ever there) just seemed to be going through the motions and did not really care much. Once getting in the room, it was acceptably clean, and had everything I needed for the few nights I was going to be there. However, the toilet roll holder and the shower curtain rod were both just hanging off the wall. I had to rig the curtain rod so it would not fall just so I could take a shower. I did not discover it until later when I was about to shower and go to bed, but at that time, it was too late to want to switch rooms and pack all my things back up. I informed them of it in the morning, but nothing else was ever said or done about it.

The hotel was stinky. There was mold in the bathroom. The towels were dirty, and all the other towels we asked for were dirty. There was weeks old dust in the bathroom’s cabinets as well. The person at the reception was rude and unfriendly. The breakfast options - limited.
