Thermostats are almost useless. Lowest temp is 66, and ours stayed above 66 although 66 was selected as we like to sleep cooler. . The fan was set to auto even though we had it set to low and high, neither worked. The floors are super thin, someone above us was running back and forth at 4:30 am every morning.

The women at the front desk were friendly and polite upon deck in. When I found my room, I noticed a pencil on the chair which immediately made me wonder how well the room had been cleaned. The sheets had a few dark stains on them and there was a crack in the shower basin. Tried the breakfast, it was ok. The juices were all watered down and gross, and there was no non-dairy option for coffee.

Everything about this property was great. Felt completely safe walking around it and the staff was very helpful with everything. There is plenty of restaurants and other things in walking distance from the hotel. The only issue we had was some guests were slamming doors but the hotel staff took proper care of it right away.

Automobile breakdown on a Sunday forced us to overnight in Altoona, PA. Found this hotel in the app, nearby, convenient, highly recommended and reasonably priced. They did not disappoint. Front desk staff was SUPERB! Hotel & grounds were exceptionally clean, bright and fresh smelling. Parking was easy. Room, bed and bathroom were comfortable with good amenities. Remote check-in and check-out were silky smooth. Breakfast was good but just the normal complimentary breakfast items.

Room was exceptional and clean. Their "premium bedding" is not bad, but not premium. The beds and bedding at the Holiday Inn Express across town is much nicer. Parking was easy. There are a couple of microbrewery restaurants that are walkable (0.5 miles) that are good. Levity Brewing was my favorite. Staff was average. When checking out, the guy at the desk was unable to print a receipt for me, so he said he would email it to me. I had to spell my (simple) email address 3 times and I still didn't receive a receipt.

This was my favorite hotel that we stayed in during our 21 day vacation. The staff is super friendly, happy to help with anything. Place is like new. Everything is clean and tidy. we like this property because it is close to where our family lives and it is reasonably priced....rooms are clean, and the staff was friendly, breakfast is good, only bad thing I can say is there was some noise outside that kept me awake, motorcycle noise and the train whistle at 2 am but that is not something the hotel can do anything about except maybe better sound proof windows!
