We would give this place a 5 star rating for location! When the staff is around they are very kind and helpful just not always present when you need something. They did respond quickly to texts, that was helpful! Parking is a little uncertain if you have a vehicle. Everything is on the street. We loved our time on Nantucket!

This hotel was simply beautiful and just ideal for a lovely visit to Nantucket. From the beginning you felt welcomed and cared for. There were light snacks in the living area and the breakfast items each morning were so appreciated. The staff were ready to assist in any way possible. Sharon, the precious housekeeper, at our location was so friendly and everything looked spotless. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a mix of some traditional or colonial furnishing, with several modern amenities like nice bathroom lighting, comfortable shower, and just a quiet ambiance. This is an older inn that has been extremely well maintained, so no elevators or microwaves in the rooms. It was a great choice for our brief stay in Nantucket. Also, it was within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping. Loved it.

The front desk girl was extremely personable. The hotel provided bikes, beach towels & beach bags. They also served a light breakfast, muffins, coffee, etc. It was within walking distance of town and Jetties and Children's beaches, yet off the beaten path. This hotel is very nice. The breakfast was a huge plus given not many bed and breakfasts on the island offer it. The room was clean, but they are small- more suitable for a couple. There was a lack of counter space as well. The largest issue is the noise. There was an aggressive sound of running water in pipes that happened about once every hour or so that did wake us up throughout the night. You also can hear people opening/closing doors etc. I am a super light sleeper so that was a bit rough for me

The property was beautiful, clean and staff were quite helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful! Delicious smoked salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt and lots of great choices of baked goods. The chocolate croissant - delish! Close proximity to town, lovely garden setting with a nice veranda, and seating areas outside. TONS of great restaurants in walking distance from casual to more upscale. Brant point lighthouse nearby, tons of lovely shops at the wharf. Loved the hotel, loved Nantucket and will definitely be back!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Would not recommend the Chapman house upper floors for elderly as the steps are narrow, steep and hard to navigate, but what a beautiful historic building!!
