Holiday Inn Istanbul - Kadikoy

The room, lobby, gym and spa were all perfect. The location is quite isolated though and there are not any restaurants or things to do in the industrial are it is located in.

Hotel itself is fine and It s good just for sleep , it s confortable ..It is in industrial zone and there is not any social , cultural places around .

Upon check in we were not really satisfied by the welcome we received. Getting a taxi was an issue on 2 occasions. Hotel transfer was not looked into even though we requested a quote. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were great. Staff at checkin desk were ok.

I always stay here when I visit my friends in Kadikoy. This hotel is a 10/10 for me, Excellent breakfast and room service. The staff will go that extra mile to please all their customers. I always book the executive room which is very spacious, modern, clean and most important the bed is so comfortable and big. Great location 5 minutes in a taxi to the main town in kadikoy. I honestly can’t say a bad word about this hotel and I would highly recommend it. I will be returning in 5 weeks.

I had reserved a non-refundable, pay to Expedia room. At the time of check-in I was asked for the payment. I showed my credit card transactions through my mobile banking app to prove that the room was paid already, which was a bit disappointing as I was already quite tired when I arrived at the hotel. I had reserved a room with one queen bed but was given a room with two beds due to unavailability. Housekeeping arranged the beds together to solve the problem, which worked. I understand that the hotels don't want to commit to a room, but at least there should be some kind of a guarantee for pre-paid rooms. The hotel building is surrounded by other buildings and my room was facing a very nearby building's rooftop and window, so I had to keep my curtains shut when I was in the room to give myself some privacy. The minibar was not cooling at all, the sink did not drain the water well and the sink counter had too many stains, some walls had stains too. It was an OK stay for two nights, though I would expect a little better from Holiday Inn brand.
