They were able to get me a room early. Check in was super fast. Restaurant and bar on site were superb. Gym on site was clean and had decent equipment. Overall I would stay here again if I return to Springfield.

Don't love the lack of sunlight in the tiny windows & there are sooooooo many light switches it was confusing & frustrating to get it all lit up or all dark.

This hotel is down right amazing! Top notch service and bigger chain hotels need to step it up like Vandivort! The location is fantastic as well, my business partner and our clients had such a great time in the downtown area! The sky bar at Vandivort is breath taking and the night vibe is something special! Do your self a favor and spend all your stay in Springfield here at this hotel you will not regret it!

Our stay was wonderful! The only issue we had was no 2nd mirror, or full length mirror. We will definitely be back!!

Great asthetic, but rowdy college town and unsafe parking. Cleanliness was lacking (someone else's food in freezer and hair-filled banana clip under nightstand) and didn't get maid service.

This hotel was amazing, very nice and clean. Sadly I would never stay here again just because of the paper thin walls. We experienced a guest next to us Screaming and yelling, possibly intoxicated. Which wasn’t pleasant and am sure this isn’t a frequent occurrence. Luckily it wasn’t quite the evening yet so it didn’t disturb sleep. However we had been woken up two separate times in the middle of the night due to guests out in the hallway, again paper thin walls we could hear everything, we have stayed places before and never could we hear people coming and going.

When we arrived, it was a little more than an hour after check-in time. The official free parking lot (there is a sign that you see across the street) was awful. Potholes. TINY and no turn-around. We found one open spot and squeezed in and went to check in. We had booked a little bit nicer room as it wasn't too much extra and we were splurging a bit on this trip but when we got to check in it wasn't ready. She gave us a couple drink coupons as an apology (although I thought drink coupons was a gold level hotels.com perk at this hotel) and said she would text/call us when it was ready and then she directed us to the paid parking or valet 'in case free was full'. We left and went to the baseball game. She never called or texted. When we returned she didn't remember us and the bar was closing in 15 minutes to use the coupons (FYI the bartender was very nice). To us that was an awfully disappointing start especially for a nice hotel with an upscale room. The room was gorgeous and had a wonderful view. There was quite a bit that we could have done around the hotel if we were staying multiple days (we were not). There was no breakfast. I would like to tell you that we would try it again but honestly for the money we probably will just look for someplace else when we return.

I was a little disappointed during the check in process. The front desk wanted to give me a room in their newer building when it was clear I was pushing my mother around in a wheel chair. I had to explain to them I had a broken foot and my mother had a broken leg, which is why she was in a wheel chair and we preferred to stay in the main building. Then, while checking in the car for valet parking, one of the employees was slouching over the podium while the other employee who was providing me with my ticket, never offered to assist me with unloading my car, pushing a valet cart, etc. even after explaining the fact that my mother and I were both handicapped. I had to put my mother in one elevator, while I used the other because her wheelchair, valet cart and myself wouldn’t fit on the elevator. Normally, this wouldn’t have been an issue, however she has Alzheimer’s and I forced to leave her unattended on an elevator in an unfamiliar place. needless to say, it was a real struggle for two ladies needing some much needed assistance. My husband was pretty upset when I explained the situation to him. Otherwise, the stay was great and is why he have stayed their several times.
