Hotel Kohlpeter

We were a family of 4 (parents plus two teens) staying 2 nights at this hotel in early November. The room that we had was fairly large by European standards, with plenty of space for our considerable luggage. The beds were comfortable. The washroom was a bit small but functional and clean. The wifi worked well and was stable throughout our stay. The hotel staff is very helpful and provides information at check-in without having to ask. The hotel is located on a side street. It has 6 free parking spots at the front. Walking to old Salzburg takes about 30 minutes down a busy commercial street. There is a bakery within a 2-minute walk. Excellent hotel overall.

i liked the homey atmosphere, the location was fine if you have a car, free parking, friendly staff, good breakfast. would go there again.

This was a great hotel. Our room was spacious and we were able to get into the city without any problems. The heating in the bathroom made the room hot so we left the door to our deck open all night and we slept well.They had plenty of parking that was free. The restaurant was very busy in the evening so the service suffered, but the food was still good.

Great stay! Great staff! Awesome restaurant downstairs. Great authentic German/Austrian hotel. Feels like home.

Very good and reasonably priced restaurant is located in the lower floor of the hotel. Very nice bathroom and room itself.

This hotel is located in a residential neighborhood near a main bus line. The very clean bathroom is large with sink and enough counter space to put cosmetics, etc. The restaurant on the property has good Bavarian food and drinks. Hotel Kohlpeter provides a wonderful breakfast!

Hotel Kohlpeter is a home away from home. The staff are helpful and cheerful. The beds are comfortable. They offer an excellent breakfast.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Kohlpeter. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The bus station to get to the city center of Salzburg is right around the corner. The restaurant next door had great food and service as well.

I was very happy they had a room that would sleep our family of 4. There was a balcony, though not a great view, but that along with other windows, including in the bathroom, allowed for ventilation. There was air conditioning, thankfully! You do have to take a bus to get to the sights. It's about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and busses are fairly easy to navigate. The breakfast and coffee were great! We enjoyed staying here, we recommend it, and we would stay here again. In fact, we hope to!

This was a cute and comfortable hotel. The service was good and the room was spacious. Beautiful views from the rooms, too.
