Le Meridien Saigon

We had an amazing stay at Le Meridien Saigon. The room is very spacious with nice view to the river and buildings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service overall is satisfactory. Highly recommended and we would stay here again next time.

First class treatment all the way to us. We are very happy that they managed to get a repair man to come and fix both of our suitcase wheels which broke while we are there for a reasonable sum. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Ho Chi Minh again.

Le Meridien Saigon is colorful, posh, and undeniably upscale. Everything you would imagine when it comes to post-modern minimalism. At times, the decor can seem too simple, reductionist in a sense (the night stand is basic end table with no shelving) but at least it is a consistent theme throughout the hotel. The location is not central. I knew this coming in from reading previous reviews, but when we got there, it was clear that the hotel was really "away" from the central District 1 area. The river is not much of a sight (it's swampy and industrial) and there is heavy construction happening on that side of town. Being at the riverfront means more traffic getting to the hotel. That said, if you want some privacy or would prefer not to be in the fray of Saigon. Breakfast buffet is delicious. Don't miss it. And don't forget to try their Vietnamese Coffee, good both iced and hot. Not sure why this wasn't mentioned in other reviews but the hotel is immediately next door to a Casino. Only non-Vietnamese citizens can gamble in Vietnam so if you want to hit the slots, bring your passport. The hotel room had some flaws (broken curtain), and the room we had was right next to the service elevator so there was some noise at night. The issue was addressed so it became a non-issue. Customer service was excellent, as expected. The takeaway is this: Le Meridien is an oasis away from the urban jungle. but if you want a central location, look somewhere else.

As always, great service and very comfortable place to stay in. As I have an early flight out, they offered to provide some packed breakfast.

The Hotel was really nice, good size room, nice river view, very good breakfast. Now the real positives, Booking in could have been a nightmare due to a date change, but the Reception Staff, namely Yvy and Thoa, were unbelievable, their caring manner and professional attitude was awesome, because of these two wonderful young Ladies, our stay was totally enjoyable. I would recommend Le Meridien Saigon highly due to this unforgetable experience Thanks Ladies Regards Gary

The shower water of spa is not hot enough and no shampoo in the spa room. Shampoo is only available in the share facility.
