Nice little lodge
I booked a one night stay in a king bed sunset view room. That view looks over the parking lot and road. It was a nice room and very clean. The room included a microwave and nice refrigerator as well as things for coffee. The heating unit was a little noisy but I didn’t mind. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast was a buffet, not a cheap continental offering. The food is delicious there as well. It’s a nice little lodge with a restaurant and a separate bar.

Overall it was great! I would stay again.
Online reservation through Hotels.com was for mountain side (back with direct entrance) which would have been ideal for the dogs we had with us. At check-in she said there were no pet rooms on that side, but the website let me book it with pets specified. She didn't charge an upcharge but it was disappointing. The bed was too soft & pillows small but breakfast & cleanliness were awesome.

Will stay here again next time for sure!
Was here for a week for a local field trial. Love that it is much cleaner and upgraded from what it used to be, but that it’s not just pet friendly but welcoming to dogs. Have to be mindful that there’s not a huge area for airing dogs and it’s right on the state highway, but the views of the mountains from the pond are amazing. Staff was super friendly. The food at the restaurant and bar there was great. Can’t really complain about anything. The ice machine I think was broken there but I’m pretty sure that was just a temporary thing.

Room was good and clean, bed was comfortable. Only downside is you can hear every person walking down the hall, but it didn't cause me to lose any sleep. I don't think I can recommend the restaurant though. I had an Indian Taco for dinner and it was fairly mediocre and not authentic (at least compared to what my Lakota relatives make), wasn't worth the $17. The breakfast buffet was also a bit lackluster and I noticed that my drinking glass had crusted food (at least I hope that's what it was) on the inside of it. The beer was solid and reasonably priced though! The coffee shop next door was great though, I can recommend that.
