Really like the gardens walking about the property made you feel like you were not in the middle of the city next to the airport done very nicely. On July 10th, I forgot my cell with all my credit cards & identification on the dining room table. Didn’t realize it until I was almost ready to leave for my next flight. Couldn’t find it in my room so race back to the restaurant and sure enough it was turned in. By Lesedi, I was blown away as you hear all kinds of stories about theft in South Africa. I got the lady to call him so I could personally thank him. He is truly a good trustworthy staff member to have around. I even told the front desk the same. He should get employee of the month.

The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room tidy and replenished with fresh towels and toiletries daily. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you prefer a hearty English breakfast or something lighter like fruits and pastries, there was something for everyone. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. The dining options were excellent, with a range of delicious dishes to suit all tastes. The ambiance in the dining area was pleasant, making each meal a delightful experience. While my overall experience was highly positive, one small area for improvement would be the addition of bins outside for smokers. This would help keep the outdoor areas clean and tidy, enhancing the overall guest experience. In summary, the Birchwood Hotel offers great value for money. The combination of excellent service

The Birchwood is a huge congress & holiday premise with dozens of small villas. Close to the airport and some major shopping malls. Several bars and restaurants in the property. All well mantained and in good shape.
